Who we are

This website is operated by Kompetitive LLC ("Kompetitive", "we", "us"). This policy covers this website only. Our products, The Gastroenterologist, The Hepatologist, Adiposphere and Fibrotherapeutics, publish their own privacy policies, which apply when you use them.

No account, no cookies, no tracking

This website requires no registration and no login. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or advertising services, and keeps nothing in your browser's storage. We do not sell, rent or trade information, or share it for advertising.

What we collect

• Messages you send us. When you use the contact form: your name, your email address, your practice or organization and current website if you give them, and your message. We use them to reply and to scope the work you ask about.
• Revenue report requests. When you ask for the simulator report: your email address, the practice type you chose, the figures you entered and the estimate the simulator produced. We use them to send the report and to follow up about it.
• Email. If you write to Email us: your address and your message.
• Hosting records. Our hosting provider processes each request, including its IP address and browser type, as any host does, to deliver and protect the site.

The revenue simulator runs in your browser. The numbers you move are not sent anywhere unless you ask for the report.

What we do not collect

We do not ask for health information or anything that could identify a patient, and you should not send it. Please keep messages to your practice or organization and what you want built. If identifiable information is sent in error, tell us and we will delete it.

Services that process information

• Cloudflare: hosting and delivery of this website, and receipt of the contact and report forms, which it passes on as an email and does not keep.
• Resend: delivery of the messages you send through the forms to our mailbox.
• Google Fonts: the typeface, which receives your IP address when the font is requested.
• Our email provider: to receive and answer messages.

Links to other sites, including our products, take you to sites with their own policies. Information is disclosed where the law requires it.

Retention

• Messages and report requests: kept while we act on them and as needed to record what was done; deleted on request.
• Hosting records: kept by the host under its own terms.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and California, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of information about you, to receive it in a portable form, and to complain to a data protection authority. No reason is required and no fee is charged. We aim to reply within one month.

Children

This website is intended for medical practices, clinicians and organizations, and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and it will be deleted.

Security

All traffic is served over HTTPS. The site sends headers that restrict framing by other sites, prevent content-type sniffing and limit referrer information, and a content security policy that limits where scripts, styles and fonts can load from. No system is fully secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Changes to this policy

This policy carries a version and an in-force date. When a material change is published, the version is raised.
